Fatloss:Fad diets

Alright, well I want all of you to know (even though I'm sure you already do) that there are lots of opportunities for corporations to make money out there. Guess what? There is a huge chunk of the population that is overweight and near (if not at) obesity. Lots of scientific reports claim that obesity or being overweight increases health risks (heart attacks, strokes etc.) There is huge awareness of the health risks that being overweight can cause. More so than this is the media's use of imagery. When was the last time you saw an obese model? Or an actress or actor that didn't have a six-pack or that didn't have a good looking body? Today's society revolves around looking good and minimizing fat. This has led to eating disorders that are severely hazardous to an individual's health.

Q:So what does this have to do with your earlier statement of "...there are lots of opportunities for corporations to make money out there..."?
A: Well simple, with this media involvement on the importance of looking fit along to a lesser extent with the health awareness, corporations are almost dying to make money off a stupid unbelievable product that burns a maximum amount of fat in a minimum amount of time.

People want to look good! The media has brought about this huge emphasis on looking muscular and slim and sexy! So? Who wouldn't want to burn all of their love handles and excess fat in about a week or less to attain the body they and everyone else have always wanted!?

Sorry to say this but fat cannot be burnt by a pill, prepareable drink, applicable lotion, or electrical stimulus! Why? Look at it this way:
Fat is your body's way of storing excess energy. It is energy that the body has not used yet! So obviously, if you have a huge packet of unused energy that you want to get rid of, you have to use that energy right? Dieting will not expend this energy, exercise will! In otherwords if a fad diet claims that you can burn fat by this pill or whatever and exercise is not mentioned then you know it is not going to work because fat is energy that needs to be used.

There you learnt your first lesson! Fat is unused and stored energy! That is why exercise works, because after continuous exercise, when your body has used up the energy from carbohydrates circulating in your blood from what you recently ate, it will revert to this stored energy. Taking a pill will not burn this energy up! (Now I know lots of people are saying "Wait wait wait go back a minute, you said something about your body reverting to burning fat for energy after all the carbohydrates have been used. How long will it take me to burn the carbohydrates and revert to fat loss?". Ok fair question, there is no fixed time that works for everybody. Lots of factors are present, how many calories you burn at rest, your intake of carbohydrate in that day, your age etc. Typically if you exercise for 40 minutes you definately revert to fat burning within that period of time, you can revert from carbohydrate burning to fat burning after 20 minutes, 30 minutes or whatever - typically 40 minutes of exercise a day is optimal.

Ok on to the next method of identifying a fad diet. Simply this, if you see it on an infomercial it is a fad diet. Why? Because they want you to pay for it! They want to make money off of it when they know the real way to do it is to exercise. Look many businesses send, along with the ab-cruncher or the other exercise gizmo that you ordered, a list of foods to eat and other types of exercise (jogging etc.) to perform. That way by eating what they suggest and doing other aerobic exercises you will lose fat - AND you will attribute all of that fat-loss to that exercise gizmo that doesn't even work!!!

You know that my routine works! Why? Because I'm not charging you any money! I'm not asking you to buy anything! I'm telling you that I myself lost this much fat and am saying that I did it this way as well, point by point all nicely laid out for you! I am not benefitting in anyway financially by sharing this from you, so I have no reason to cheat you now do I?

Here's a basic rule for you to follow, if a certain "routine" claims it can help you lose fat, it is a fad diet if it excludes exercise, if it claims you can eat anything you want, and if it claims it costs less than $99.

In a nutshell if it is not my routine then it is a fad diet or it is a diet that is not healthy. I'm not trying to put any other diets or anything down. Don't think of my routine as something that I discovered and put together myself. My routine is known my lots of fitness trainers as the right way to do this, Exercise more and eat properly! If you explore my website that is the fundamental rule to losing fat! I just want to educate all the visitors to my site that pills do not work, or if they do they have probably caused some other change that is not visible - with fatloss as a side affect.
There was a statistic that showed the percentage of North Americans' who were overweight. This to many fitness corporations is a heck of a lot of potential customers. What would you rather do? Spend who knows how much $ on some machine that you have no way of knowing if it works and succombing to a company that only wants your business? Or spending no money on your fat-loss quest by exercising (jogging, walking) 4x a week if not daily and eating fruits/veggies/proteins while knowing that this is the healthy and only way to lose fat and get fit for life? I hope you choose the latter because that is what this website is all about and it gives you clear instructions on how to accomplish your goal - like I have.
