| A Note on Statistics. In a perfect measure of statistics, a d4 (rolled 4 times) should produce a "1", a "2", a "3", and a "4". The total of these four rolls would be 10. The average therefore would be 2.5 (it will take several rolls to achieve this balance most times) A d6 should produce, on six rolls, each number once. 6+5+4+3+2+1= 21, averaging 3.5 per roll A d8 will average 4.5 per roll. 8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1=36 This carries on for all the dice. The number of the die (d6, d10, d12), divided by two, plus 0.5 is the average of a roll. |
| I know there isn't much here, but I'm not a very dedicated web master, so updating is not done regularly. I also tend to dislike changes, and unless I Honestly NEED to alter something, I likely won't. |
