THE ASAN VIDEO AWARDS 2007 The AVA (Asan Video Awards) is a one of a kind event aimed at all those young and talented media students across India. It focuses on exposing young talent that usually won’t find an outlet to express themselves. Along with being a celebration of student video at its best, AVA aims to bring novelty and freshness to the Indian film industry that (seriously) seems to be running out of ideas and emotions of quality. If you ‘kinda’ get a feel of where we are coming from then you have just come across an event that might be just what you were looking for. So, all you upcoming/wannabe/different/young/ film makers out there get your act together and allow us to let you become famous, maybe even RICH! Who knows? This is your one shot at showing the world what you got! Still reading? Get down to business and send us that entry. We might be able to make something out of it for you on February 23rd when your movies will be screened at the Film Chamber, Chennai, (which also hosts Chennai's International Film Festival) in front of a prominent jury and over 500 interested people in the audience.
