are many other mangas out there that I have read, but there are just too

Dragon Knights |
| This can most definitely classified as fantasy. It has dragons
and demons. The general story is, there are three knights, one of fire,
one of earth, and one of water. Each knight has a different background but
their duty is protect the Dragon Lord and the kingdom of which he reigns
over from the evil Demon Lord. Along the journey they meet many friends
and even more enemies. It is a MUST read for any fantasy fan, whether they
like anime or not. Just so you know, this is a VERY vague summary. |

Fruits Baskets |
| A romantic comedy for the ages. It deals with the Chinese
Zodiac and has many messages for young people. The story is about a girl
who finds out about the terrible family curse of the Sohmas. Upon getting
hugged by the opposite gender, they transform into members of the zodiac,
all on account of the cat's revenge. Can the young girl help the family,
or is she doomed to lose more people she cares about? |

D.N.Angel |
| A romantic comedy full of suspense. Daisuke Niwa, a fourteen
year old boy, discovers his destiny on the night he is rejected by the girl
he likes. He becomes the famous Phantom Thief Dark, a master thief who steals
pieces of art previously owned by the Hikari family. But being a phantom
thief is not all fun and games. Daisuke must make the girl he likes return
his feelings, while staying away from the captain of the police, who happens
to be a classmate of his. |

| Ichigo Kurosaki is not your ordinary fifteen year old teenager.
He has the innate ability to see ghosts. Then, one night, he runs into Rukia
Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper. Her duty is to help 'whole' souls move on, and stop
souls gone awry, known as Hollows. On that same night, his family is attacked,
and the only way to save them is to become a Soul Reaper himself. Now he
finds himself hunting Hollows along with his predecessor, Rukia. However,
not all is right in his little town, and being a Soul Reaper is sure to

| A romantic comedy that will leave you crying from laughter.
Miki has just learned her parents are divorcing. Not only that, but they
are switching partners with another family, who have a son by the name of
Yuu. Miki quickly falls for Yuu, but all he does he jokingly tease her.
Mix in love triangles, deception, and true love, and you have Marmalade
Boy. |

| Yoh Asakura is a shaman. Amidamaru is a deceased samurai.

to see Yoh as the king of Shamans. What is the King of Shamans you ask?
The almighty one who has the skill to integrate with the the master of spirits,
who that may be, you decide. But Yoh is not the only one desiring a dream,
shamans from all around the world want their own dreams to come true by
becoming Shaman King. Thus begin the Shaman fights. |

| Miaka Yuki is a normal junior high student who loves food
and is struggling to get into the high school her mother wants. Yui Hongo
is the perfect student and Miaka's best friend. One day, while at the library,
the two discover a book called The Universe of the Four Gods, a Japanese
Translation. When they open it, they are thrown into a world resembling
ancient China, and are immediatly rescued by a dashing young fellow named
Tamahome. Pretty soon, Yui is sent back to her world, while Miaka is left
stranded. Eventually Miaka gets to tha kingdom of Konan, a peaceful little
place ruled by the beautiful Hotohori. She runs into Tamahome again, and
meets Hotohori, who believes her to be the Priestess of Suzaku, the one
destined to save their world. This is a tale full of betrayel, friendship,
true love, and triumph over evil. "The story itself is a spell. Because...the
story begins and becomes real...the moment the first page is turned." |

| Tampopo Yamazaki is an optimisitc lover of flowers. Koki Kugyo
is a troubled young man with no real friends other than flowers. Together
they attend the prestigious school of Meio. The difference is Koki's parents
own the school, and Tampopo is a transfer student picked on because of her
background. Learning that Koki has a love for flowers, Tampopo decides to
show him what true friendship is. But could this budding friendship turn
into something more? |

the war brewing in the shadows that normal people do not now about. She

| Arucard is not your normal officer. He works for a secret
agency known as Hellsing, which deals with special cases. He is the main
man who can go against any foe, especially vampires. Seras Victoria was
your normal officer, until she had a run in with Arucard. That nights changes
her life forever, and with Hellsing, forever is a literal term. Her initiation
into Hellsing does not come too soon, for an old enemy has arisen to try
to take the world for themselves once again. |

Hot Gimmick |
| Hatsumi Narita is a timid shy high school girl. Her sister,
Akane, is the complete opposite, and when Akane thinks she is pregnant,
Hatsumi is conned into getting a pregnancy test. But that is not the worst
part, for on her way home, Hatsumi runs into Ryoki, the son of the owner
of the building, and lets slip that the test is for her junior high sister.
In exchange for not telling his mother about this, Hatsumi must be his slave,
for him to do it with anytime. Reluctantly, Hatsumi agrees, but it is not
that easy. Despite Ryoki's advances, Hatsumi continues to stay safe. Not
only that, but the longer Ryoki is with her, the more he finds his feelings
are turning to love. Will this troubled relationship turn into a budding
romance? |

| Sanzo, Goku, Hakkai, and Gojyo are four total opposites. You
have a priest, a monkey, a kappa, and a nagging mother figure. Together
they must embark on a journey to the west in search of the key to stop the
demons going crazy and reeking havoc on the humans around. But these so
called heroes are also demons, except for Sanzo, and must be quite careful
to not succumb to killing one another, not out of instinct, but out of pure
irritation. Will they save the world before beating the bloody hell out

| A somewhat childish manga, but cute nonetheless, and the little
people representing the western signs are adorable. This is the story of
Lili, an aspiring fortune teller who helps solve crimes on the side. She
is joined by her old childhood friend Hiro when he learns her secret. Now
the two are the best secret crime solving team. But it's not all fun and
games, when ghosts from the past come to rip the two apart. Are the stars
are their side? |

The Demon Ororon |
| I LOVE THIS MANGA! IT IS PURE GENIUS! This is the story of
Chiaki, the daughter of the archangel Micheal, and a human mother, and Ororon,
the King of Hell. Ororon would much rather live with Chiaki than return
to hell, but she has trouble coming to terms with his murderous instincts.
This is a love story for the ages, and it really looks at the differences
between heaven, hell, and the world in between. It is definitely a MUST
read for any fans of manga. |

Faeries' Landing |
| For anyone with a decent background of anime, you must have
heard the tale of the fairy and the woodcutter, and how the fairy bore him
children, and finally returned to her home when she found her holy robes.
Well, this is a new spin on the story. Fanta is one of the children of this
couple, and has most recently been stranded on earth when our hero, Ryang,
accidently tore her robes, all thanks to Goodfellow (the character you love
to hate!). Next, he is doomed to live out 108 evil affinities, or relationships,
and Fanta must make sure he's not killed in the process. Along the way,
they meet more fairies, spirit forces, and old crazy flames. It is an hysterical
manga from Korea. |

Vampire Game |
| Ever wondered what a vampire cat would look like? Look no
further! Duzell, the most feared of vampires was killed by the King of Pheliosta.
As he died, Duzell swore to be reincarnated and when he was, he would hunt
down Phelios and kill his reincarnation. The promise has come to pass, the
only problem is Duzell is a cat, and Phelios is nowhere in sight. But not
all is lost, for Duzell is taken in by Ishtar, Phelios' great great granddaughter.
And the greatest part of it is Ishtar agrees to help Duzell kill her great
great grandfather's reincarnation! Join this hilarious duo as they search
for Phelios, and themselves. |

Demon Diary |
| Meet the young master Raenef, heir to the throne of Demon
Lord. But can this young pretty boy match up to his mentor Eclipse, and
be the demon king Eclipse wants him to be? Raenef feels no need to be evil,
even with a knight and magician coming for his head. And not all is fun
in love and war. This is a hysterically funny manga for everyone. And let
us not forget to mention Mr. Tomato. |

Eerie Queerie |
| Don't let the name fool you, America is the one that gave
it that title. It's originally known as Ghost!, but they had to screw it
up. Anyway, this is yaoi, though a much toned down yaoi. Mitsou is a high-school
student with the uncanny ability to see and communicate with ghosts. Through
a series of possessions and misunderstandings, Mitsou draws the eye of the
school hottie, Hasunuma. Now best friends, or maybe more, they go through
high school life in a not so normal way. |

Brain Powered |
| By the manga-ka who brought you D.N.Angel, comes another great
manga. However a major concern of mine is how confusing this is. The Earth
is in shambles and you have these living robots known as Powereds. They
seem to hold the key to Earth's salvation, but then you got the confusing
self discoveries of Yuu and Hime. Hime seems to be a goddess, but not literally,
while Yuu is tormented by his family's obsession. It's a good manga, just
confusing. |

Kodocha |
| Sana is the star of her class, and the star of her own show.
She's the dynamic eleven year old who intends to make an impression on the
world. Akito is a troubled trouble maker who only listens to Sana. Can you
guess what's next? Akito and Sana are both very mature for their age, but
they're still young, and thus have a lot to learn. Join these two as the
learn the hardships of love, friendship, personal growth, and squirrels. |

Gravitation |
| This is shounin ai, and if you don't know what that means,
it's kind of like yaoi, but not as much. It's the story of Shuichi Shindo
and how he wants to become a rock star, just like his idol Ryuichi. But
his nerves are rattled when a Yuki Eiri says his lyrics are horrible, and
to quit the business. With a new flame, Shuichi writes the lyrics of the
century, but is troubled by the fact that he can't get Yuki out of his head.
The two begin a twisted relationship, but both are new to the dealings of
love, and it's going to take a lot of help for these two to stay together. |

Angel Sanctuary |
| I urge anyone weak of heart to stay away from this particular
manga. Though the story may seem twisted at first, once you get into it,
it doesn't seem to matter. The art is as wonderful as the storyline. Long
ago, in the battle between angels, two lovers were killed, and their souls
were sent to Earth to be reincarnated. There is just one problem, the guy
is now a girl, and the girl is now a guy. Even worse, they are brother and
sister, and the feelings of past lives has not subsided in the least. Now,
sixteen, the boy strives to deal with his feelings, while running from rogue
angels and demons who are after his head, or reincarnated self. |

Alichino |
| I don't know much about this manga since the first one is
the only on that's out, but I wanted to mention it since it's a very good
manga with well done artwork. You have Alichinos, creatures that can grant
any wish, for a price. Next is Tsugiri, a young man who despises Alichinos
but oddly enough lives with two of them. One day, he discovers he has the
power to kill them, but he also learns he's meant to die for them. What
can Tsugiri do? |

Clover |
| If you find a four leaf clover, be sure to hide it, so no
one can take your happiness. This is the story of Sue, a four leaf clover,
the only four leaf clover, and since she is the only one, she has been isolated
all her life. See, a four leaf clover has the power to rule the world. Kazuhiko
is an ex-military man charged with the protection of this lonely and shy
little girl. They are on their way to a place called Fairy Park. Along the
way Kazuhiko learns more of the clovers, and Sue learns more about life.
High ratings for this dark manga, and it's a favorite among CLAMP lovers. |

| A dark and depressing manga, but compelling none the less.
If you sell your soul to the devil, you have till you're eighteen before
losing your mind and becoming a monster. Ren and Rei are living on borrowed
time as they try to seek out their long lost cousin before the devil takes
them. They also try to help those who have fallen, and happen to meet more
people like themselves. But, unbeknownst to them, they have a much bigger
role to play in the end of the world than they thought. Can they right their
wrong, or are they doomed to hell? |

Flower of the Deep Sleep |
| Another manga I don't know much about since the first one
is the only one that's out. Plus the second volume will be its last. Yuuki
can see into the future with her dreams. She knows she shouldn't try and
change it, but being the kind hearted person she is, she tries anyway. Then,
when her sister falls into a deep sleep, she must work along the ones promised
to her to find out why her sister, and others, are falling asleep, before
it's too late. But who is the little girl, really, behind it all, and what
is her connection to Yuuki? |

Hana Kimi |
| How far would you go to meet your idol? Try asking Mizuki
that question. She disguises herself as a guy and flies halfway across the
world, just to go to the same school as her idol. But when she gets there
she learns that Izumi Sano, her idol, is no longer a high jumper. Shocked,
Mizuki decides to take it upon herself to help Sano jump again. But it's
not easy being a girl in a all boys' school, and it's even harder when she
begins to have feelings for some of these boys. |

| This is a very well known and popular anime. You have Naruto,
a kid ninja who desires to be the strongest in the world. But through his
whole life, he's been picked on, and scolded. What else do you expect though,
harboring the spirit of an evil and powerful fox demon inside of you? But
Naruto doesn't let that stop him, and after graduating, he starts training
with one of the very best. However, he's stuck with his arch rival and the
girl he loves. This is a good manga, but I imagine it's very long. I don't
even know the end of it. |

| Yaya is a push over, but Nana pushes people over. Can you
beleive these people are one in the same? Beleive it. Of course Yaya has
no idea of Nana's existance. Nana on the other hand, knows exactly what's
going on, and strives to let justice be done. When the guy Yaya likes finds
out about this split personality, what is he supposed to do? And what will
Nana do when Yaya's idol wants her to sing with him. Join this duo for one
crazy adventure. |

| This is a romance, and what I can figure is you have one
guy, Makoto Amano, acting like a girl because he wants to be an actor and
that's the only way his dad will allow his career choice. Then you have
a girl, Ito Miura, who's a tomboy, but female in every other sense. When
Ito finds out Makoto's secret, she agrees to help. Will Makoto be able to
finish high school as a girl with Ito's help, or will their relationship
reveal it all? It's so very cute! |

Fullmetal Alchemist |
| I love this manga! I love this show! It's so great! *Tear*
You have Edward Elric, the Fullmetal Alchemist, due to his metal arm and
leg. His younger brother Alphonse is worse off though, since his whole body
is made of metal. How? you might ask. They violated not only alchemy laws
but human laws as well, they tried to bring their mother back to life, and
failed miserably. Now they are on the hunt to find the source of power that
can bring their bodies back, the Philosopher's Stone. Unfortunatly, they
aren't the only ones looking. If you pay any attention to anything on this
site, pay attention to this, READ IT! |
