Back to Top_______________________________________________ What the doctor do when surgery?First the doctor mark the skin with pen, and then planned the incision site for the cannules insertion, and give small amount of local anaesthesia injection in the opening. After washed the skin with antiseptic solition ( e.g. Betadine) and put sterile drapes, the skin incised 3-4 mm to insert the anaestehsia needle and distributed the tumescent solution. After wait for 15-20 minutesred , the liposuction done from the same incision site, until desired contour achieved. So the skin incision is very small (3-4 mm) in several area. The most possible complications are iregularities, usually this happened because the surgeons didn't work well or the heal not uniformerly. This can be corrected 2-3 months later. The other complication is infection, which 100% could be prevented. Other complication is death, very very seldom, always happended because of anaesthetic death, not because the surgical technique. To make the liposuction very safe, don't do too much in one setting, better to do several times and safe after 1-2 months interval.
