KABULA LIONS FUNDRAISING
This page gives a list of fundraising initiatives by the Club
INTRODUCTION
The Masaka Village Project is the major project for Kabula Club which will require a substantial sum of money. This is a big challenge for the Club and the Club needs all the support of our community and leaders to make this a reality. The Club has come up with fantastic fundraising ideas to raise enough resources for the Project.
FUN FAIR SMALL CHANGE MAKES BIG CHANGE CAMPAIGN
The Club will on 2 December 2007 hold a Fun Fair at Blantyre Sports Club, where there will be fun and games, and chances to win fantastic prizes.

The Organising committee is busy preparing for this event, not only to fundraise, but to give the patrons value for their money.

The Club has planned for a "Masaka Village Sensitization Campaign". The aim is to publicise the Project to the community and highlight the need of the Masaka people for this project.

This will be done in tandem with  a  Lions display at entrances to major shopping malls during the first 2 weeks of December 2007 where the shoppers will be requested to donate their "shopping change" into a box. Hence the theme,  "Small Change (from shopping) makes Big Change (like the Masaka Project)",  borrowed from
Biggleswade Sandy Lions
CAR WASH
The Club also plans to do a Car Wash, and request car owners to donate something. Anything to get funds for the Masaka People!
EDUCATION FUND
We also will be fundraising for the Education Project where there are currently 22 students who are supported by paying their school fees and pocket money. To date, the Club has raised the funds from its members and we hope to reach more students this year with your support.
Re-afforestation programme is also on the line for fundraising.
ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CHEER
Of course, there is the Annual Christmas cheer function which this year will be held on 15  December 2007. The Club will donate to Street Children & either a hospital or orphange or to the elderly. The Club once again depends on your support to make memorable Holidays for the less priviledged.
