| Like all Lions Clubs in the world, Lions Club of Kabula's interests are in serving, in line with the International Lions motto of "WE SERVE". The Club has reached out, just to mention a few, to the eldery, homeless (street children), orphanages (mainly opharned due to the HIV/AIDS pandemic), underpriviledged secondary school students and hospitals. In the Lionistic Year 2007-2008, Kabula Lions has lined up many activities that will continue to change lives, bring a smile and touch a life. In line with International President's theme for this year of "A Challenge to Change", Kabula Club's theme is "READY TO CHANGE-AT ANY COST". | The Club was chartered in February 2004 with 20 members, most of whom are still currently in the Club. The Club's membership grew to 27 within two years, and currently, due to relocations and resignations, there are 21 members. The Club meets at Le Meridien Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre, twice monthly; on second and third Thursdays of the month for Board and Business meetings respectively.
