                 Gardeners Pledge

I pledge allegiance to the earth and to the flora, fauna and human life that supports, one planet, under God, indivisible, with safe air, water and soil, economic justice, equal rights and peace for all.
~author unknown, processed new pledge of allegiance with some additives, as seen on a button.

Hass Country Garden's

We have seven and a half acres of the prettiest hill top property in the world. Well it is to Honey Bunny and I.  Two thirds is wooded and a third fairly open.  We have many spreading live oak trees. One that is our favorite sits on the highest point of our property. We chose the spot right next to this tree to build our home in 1976. This tree has become the Hass Country logo. We added two nice swings hanging in this tree.   We do some of entertaining under this tree. We have had birthday parties, a wedding and family reunions under this and other live oaks spread around our property.   We have had other trees to grow around, some volunteer and some planted.  But none has ever topped this very old tree.

You have seen one photo of Hass Country (alias Ladybug Country) on the Home Page. We built a cedar post fence around the house and this tree.  Within this fenced area we have landscaped with country gardens.   On this page I will show you a few photos of out yard and garden.
