The Lilys will be playing this year's MACROCK (Mid Atlantic College Radio Conference) in Harrisonburg, VA which is sponsored by WXJM (the radio station of James Madison University - click here to register for the conference). Also playing will be the Olivia Tremor Control, Elf Power and the surf rock band The Sums (Who will be touring with the Lilys this summer after Kurt gets settled in to Philly).

What's this about Kurt getting settled in Philly you ask?! Well, Kurt and family move to Philly from Hartford in early February. What about the band you ask?! Rumor has it that this may be the last Lilys' record. Stay tuned for updates...

Fans of the band may want to check out the new record by the Pernice Brother, entitled 'Overcome By Hapiness.' (SubPop SP427) It's a fine album full of well crafted songs and nice melodies, and features the talents of Lilys luminaries Thom Monahan, Michael Deming, and Aaron Sperske. While not as eclectic and unpredictable as a Lilys record, it's well worth checking out.

Speaking of Michael Deming, one can learn a little more about the man and his many projects right here. Give it a look and realize that he is more than a name attached to Lilys.
