LiftEquip, Inc. has been in business since 1985 we represented 4 Point
Lift Systems from 1985 to 2007 covering Ohio, Michigan and Indiana as
well as parts of connecting states. In 1988 I became owner of the
company and have been involve in the selling and renting of Telescopic
Hydraulic Gantry Systems, training crews worldwide in the safe
operation of these systems, and overseeing major lifts of 300 plus
tons using telescopic hydraulic lift systems.
Since 2000 I have been a speaker at several conferences discussing
applications using hydraulic gantries. I served on an SCRA taskforce
that recommended to OSHA certain regulations necessary to insure
the safe operation of Telescopic Hydraulic Gantry Systems. My
specialty was training.
In 1999 I started to work with a company in Canada designing and
building the items which include: Poly Machinery Dollies; Rolling
Outriggers for large truck cranes; Specialized Die Carts including
a 150 ton self propelled, remote controlled and self unloading die
cart, plus other specialized items. The engineering of all products
was approved by Mr. David Duerr
of 2DM Associates, Houston, Texas,
a registered engineer.
In 2006 I was asked by a major steel foundry to design a portable
platform crane that had a 15 reach, capable of handling a 1,000 lb.
man basket. It had to be battery operated, digital operated where the
crane can be operated by a person in the man basket and have a air
operated hydraulic pump for emergency purpose. In March, 2007
LiftEquip, Inc. received a PO for the SUSPENDED PLATFORM and delivered
it in January, 2008. The customer felt that we exceeded their
expectations and is quite happy with it.
In May, 2007 LiftEquip, Inc. received a PO for a 15,000 lb. Self
Propelled Industrial Crane Truck from the Brookhaven National Laboratory.
The crane could only be 40 wide (66 with extended rolling outriggers),
It has a removable winch so that it can travel through a 7 door. It
also has propane power, 90o steer, 220o boom swing and many other
features. The Industrial Crane Truck was delivered in December. 2007 to
the customers satisfaction.
As of September 2008 our third Industrial Crane Truck is in final
production at T. Bruce Sales
, West Middlesex, Pa., a major heavy duty
fabricator. Complete CAD drawings for fabrication (approved by Mr. Duerr),
machining and assembly are provided as are complete manuals, training and
a Power Point recurrent training program with each machine.
