| Orville Godhew | ||||||
| - Clan Nosferatu - Was thought to be destroyed during the second Sabbatt War - Was banished from the city by Prince Karlamov after Masquerading as Paul Irwin (Crikey!) - Seized Princedom under guise of Lucienne Lascal after Lethbridge Stewart moved to Mississauga - Revealed himself for what he was (Feb, 2003) - Had Lady Persephone executed and fought with the Warlord of the Camarilla nearly killing him - A conclave was held and he was declared Anathema (June,2003) Orville Godhew came to the city under the command of Justicar Thierry. He served as a powerful soldier in the first Sabbat war that returned the city to Camarilla control. When the war ended he retreated with the other Nosferatu to the sewers. When the Nosferatu were insulted and pulled their forces out of the city, Orville was asked to stay behind to keep an eye on things. Orville established himself as a powerful Kindred early in his stay in the city and cut out favorable feeding grounds in downtown. Using some resources he got from unknown sources, he opened a bar called The Thirsty Penguin and established it as a local Rack. He was a known business associate of DeAMoN KhaRN, and animosity between him and the Caitiff Marcus was no secret to anyone. He really proved himself as the strong warrior he claimed to be when he delivered 3 War Ghouls to Prince Kharlamovs doorstep. After this strike, Godhew began to rise in the ranks. Moving from Scourge, to Sheriff and then to Keeper quickly over the next few months. He left for a brief period of time to aid in the siege of Ottawa. There, he infiltrated the Sabbat, rescued Will Mackenzie, fought off his Kindred brother Mr. Darling, and then finally returned home in more or less one piece. Godhew was always suspected of foul play. His direct Smash first ask questions later method made him risky to approach if one was not careful. But a slew of accusations, from disappearing Kindred, to blackmailed ghouls, and even the question as to why his blood was so potent for a Kindred his age kept Godhews seedy reputation intact. When the second Sabbat War began, Orville spearheaded the assault. But his valiant assault was really part of a ruse. Owing a life boon to Brigadier Alistair-Gordon Lethbrigde-Stewart that he did not intend to pay, Orville elaborately faked his own death. But Orville was not done with the city. Disguising himself as a recently turned Lick from Australia named Paul Irwin (Crikey!), he spied on the city for 3 months until Prince Kharlamov discovered this act and revealed Orville for what he was. However, a cunning plan involving the fear of a lurking Niktuku allowed Orville to remain in the city with a new disguise, and Kharlamovs approval. Thus Lucienne Lascelles was born. With nobody working against him this time, Orville was free to remain in the city completely anonymous. During this time he manipulated his way into the position of Harpy. When Kharlamov stepped down as Prince, a political manuvere ousted the Brigadier from becoming Prince, and Orville finally had the control he sought. His reign as Prince was not easy, it began with an assassination attempt that he fended off with the aid and loss of one Robert Paulson. But 2 years of war, manipulation, constant assaults, and quite possibly a stolen soul or two was taking its toll on Orville. He began to deteriorate in both his physical disguise, and his mental health. He began having delusions and questing for greater power. Believing all his woes were somehow related to the Warlord Kharlamov, he attacked him one eve. He failed, but was brought back to life by Dr. James Samuel. Once re-animated he succeeded in killing Kharmolav, only to have the Warlord raised by Samuel as well. Samuel stopped the fight and Orville was banished by a secretly returned Justicar Thierry. To his credit Orville was Red-Listed, and is currently at large. His whereabouts are unknown |
