Opening Announcements, July 2003:

1) The �Coors Light Killer� strikes again!  This month 2 more people have been shot to death in Toronto with silver bullets embossed with the words "Coors Light, The Silver Bullet."  These men were both small time drug dealers operating in the downtown core.  Toronto police are offering a substantial reward for information leading to the arrest of the killer.

2) The killer of Holly Jones, Michael Briere was found killed in his jail cell this month.  He had been dismembered over a period of several hours and brutally tortured, then slowly bled to death.  Prison guard were quoted as say "Wow... we didn't expect that...."

3) The growing movement of Straight Edgers in Canada has started causing problem in the nation's capital.  Straight Edgers have started protesting, with the aid of thousands of others to protest the decriminalization of Marijuana and the decay of traditional family values and morals.  They have formed a human wall around the parliament buildings and almost have them under siege.  Violence has broken out in a few small events and several individuals have been killed, but for the most part the mob is protesting peacefully and not once has it broken into riot.  This blockade has lasted for 2 weeks and shows no signs of thinning.

4) Joel Steinberg a convicted child killer was released on parole this month.  He disappeared shortly thereafter and no sign of him was found until a few days ago Videotape arrived to Police and newspapers form Turkey where Steinberg was imprisoned on drug charges, and executed.  The tape was signed "Dark Justice"

5) The Kharlamov Foundation has this month purchased the newspaper the Toronto Standard.  Famed philanthropist Valeri-Stanislaw Sikorski-Kharlamov was unavailable for comment.

6) A major Camarilla offensive was launched on July 2nd, led by Warlord Kharlamov.  The Camarilla won a major victory over the Sabbat, capturing Kissimmee, St. Cloud and Merit Island Florida. Kharlamov personally directed the efforts and specifically organized bringing under Camarilla control the Kennedy Space Centre.

7) In another Major camarilla victory, the Sabbat Stronghold of Savannah, Georgia surrendered to the Camarilla.  Archbishop Tyllis agreed to convert the city to Camarilla control, and personally executed over 50 Sabbat who were unwilling to accept this judgement.  It is rumoured that this may be the first step towards the collapse of the Sabbat in North America.

8) The Quality Unusual Academic Case Knowledge Study has formed a group of paranormal hunters who specialize in hunting Ghosts and Spirits.  No knowledge yet on whether the beams will cross.

9) Valeri-Stainslaw Sikorski-Kharlamov was once again lauded for his generosity as he personally donated $2,000,000 to help with the effort of the Rolling Stones Concert on July 30th.

10) It is rumoured that Prince Daemon Kharn has been meeting with members of clan Nosferatu worldwide.

11) It is also rumoured that the DK gang has started taxing prostitution, drugs and all other street vices in Toronto.  Toronto police have started a new task force to deal with this threat of organized crime and many citizens are worried.

12) EXT toys has released a new set of Super Villain toys.  The leading toy in this line is a short fat man by the name of "Mr MoneyBags", and he comes complete cane & all as well as Bags of money with dollar signs.

13) In the past weeks there have been Massive robberies of five TD Canada Trust branches in Toronto. Over $3 million was stolen.  TD has entered into new security arrangements as a result.  Anyone with information on the robberies is asked to contact crime stoppers.

14) Toronto Police have formed a special Unit in Toronto Similar to SWAT, this group, by the name of the Hellsing institute, is trained specifically designed to deal with people who have been using new drugs to perpetrate violent crime, or heavily armed criminals.

15) Police and security guards shut down the Scarborough Town Centre last night after several hundred teenagers rampaged in the food court and an exploding firecracker caused panic among shoppers. Toronto police said they decided to close the mall around 8:30 p.m. after receiving calls about a rampage and shots being fired, although police later attributed the gunshot sounds to a firecracker.  The body of a 16-year-old boy was found later in the mall floating in a fountain with three stab wounds to the face and throat.

16) The FBI is spearheading a Canadian manhunt for an Ottawa man accused of sexual assault in the U.S. and a former state trooper who preys on wealthy women. The men, who are believed to be on the lam in Canada, are sought by Interpol and are among the FBI's most wanted. Also sought is former Alaska State Trooper John Patrick Addis, 52, of Flint, Michigan, wanted for the murder of 3 people. Brian Michael Jones, 46, a former Ottawa landscaper and real estate businessman, is sought in connection with the August 1999 kidnapping and rape of a woman in Nevada
