Doubt is the key here, Jan.

1400, for example, it was warmer in Europe (and probably other places) than it is now.
What, 1 degree? Like the alleged 'global warming' now?
You do realize that if I am to take the Bible as
inspired that I MUST have an explanation for events portrayed, whether literal or not in order to be true to it's creeds.
As long as there is DOUBT when ones contend that "there has never been a great flood", I can have faith that the
events have an explanation and did happen (not necessarily a few thousand years ago), in some miraculous way.
I am trying to show that there is SOME EVIDENCE of a Great Flood within mankind's memory and that anyone who contends there is not ANY and that it surely DID NOT HAPPEN is not viewing all of the objections and disputes in present theories.
You can label it "fundie" or anything else that you want, that does not in any way prove you are right. Are you saying that
a great flood has absolutely not occurred?
