: I have a question, who do you picture as the two beings in Genesis, "making man in our image"?
I don't think it is two. I think Yahweh's invisibl audience is the rest of the pantheon where he presides.
: I once saw a remark from you about a consort to Yahweh, is it the Mesopotamian dieties?
Palestinian. She is referred to in ancient (7th century BC I think) Hebrew texts as "his Asherah". I don't think it's definite that this was a name; it's more probably a title of a female fertility goddess. Whatever the case, Yahweh ended up being widowed by the priests that worshipped him.
Easy to understand why the misogynic Yahweh-priests tried to eradicate Asherah worship in "Biblical" times.
