Had heard that a Kingdom Hall in a nearby area had been sold to a Church. Took a drive over there this week-end and what did I see? (Gasp) A STEEPLE AND CROSS are now on top of the Kingdom Hall.
My question is why is it ok for the
Kingdom Hall to be sold to a church?
I know that when you are a JW, you are expected to turn down any work or business that is connected with a church, so how can they sell a building to them?
Is it grounds for being DFD if you do
business with a church? Seems like I read somewhere that it was. I know I turned down work that had to do with churches. I could have used the work at the time too, to support my family.
So what's the deal? Is this another double
standard or what?
