There is or was an assembly hall in mid USA that had been a former religious building/temple. So that was your scenario in reverse.
These situations remind me of the �rule� that ordinary JWs can not join the YMCA or YWCA and yet the Society arranges to use their pools for immersions at some circuit assemblies.
It doesn�t seem in these cases that the organization is attempting to stay as far away as possible from �Babylon the Great,� though they sure expect the RAF JW to do so. A double standard? Looks very close to me.
