Like a "Thief in the Night" He will come and be "in the house and leave, with out the owner of the house even knowing of it". Parden the poor paraphrase but, it seems there are conflicting indications as to the recognizability of the nature of the "return". Jesus was born of Mary, in the flesh, yet He, Himself said He came "down from Heaven" and would return in like manner. I suspect you are correct in that a fleshly return is indicated, and that He will not be recognizable as the "Christ" even though His knowledge shall cover the earth like the waters. Since His kingdom is one of the "hearts of men" rather than a temporal kingship, I doubt His coming will be recognized as such for a long time after He has left the scene even though His appearance will effect us for another 1000 years. Oh, BTW could you please share the references where "the anti-christ" will claim that Jesus will not return in the flesh? There are only five references to the anti-christ all in the synoptic gospels, none in any other references. The Beast of Revelations is never identified as anti-christ or any direct connection thereto. Please explain!
