Sundial Bridge – This is a one sided suspension bridge with the tower on one side angled away from the river (not shown, I goofed up those photographs). The tower acts as a sundial and there are markings on the ground for a small arc length (~20 degrees) with labels that give times for the summer equinox, June 22, only. |
