The Selina Kyle of the animated, and New Adventures cartoon series, is perhaps the most similar to the comics.
In this I�m a rich wealthy beautiful woman who rubs shoulders with Gotham�s wealthiest society. I�m noted to frequently giving large sums of money to animal charities, but where does my fortune come from.
Well the story goes, I was a poor kid who was forced into a life of crime. A stern animal activist, and lover of all living things I began to donate money to insuring the preservation of wildlife. But a private code forbids me from stealing from those who are poor and cant afford it. Similar to Robin Hood. I dawn a cat style costume considering it only right because of my new-found profession.
I first encounter the Batman in a story entitled �The Cat and The Claw�. This story also introduces international terrorist Red Claw. I'm sponsoring a piece of land used my mountain lions which also happen to have a military base under it which Red Claw wants!
I actually help Batman stop Red Claw but unfortunately I'm still wanted by the police and Batman, despite the fact he�s fallen in love with me, is forced to take me to the police.
