The new Publicist will be chosen at the September 30th meeting. Currently there are only two people running that we are aware of. Others may be nominated from the floor.
Fall Fiesta takes place next Wednesday, from 10 AM to 4 PM. The deadline for table submissions ended last Thursday at 4 PM. Any questions or concerns about the Fiesta can be directed to Ivy Crawford, Parlamentarian of the SGA.
Cosmetology received $300 last Thursday to use for Fall Fiesta. The Rebel Sqaud received $700 to form their new club. The Drug Counseling Club received $500 to form their new club. The Go Club discussion was tabled until the September 30th meeting.
The 70th Anniversary Celebration is coming up on October 23rd. The Executive Board has dictated that the profits will be shared among any clubs involved. However, they can neither give a definite number of hours available to each club nor can they give assurances on the amount of money that will be made. The concessions portion will run from 1 PM to 6 PM and the student tours will run at various other times. |
