| To promote the socialization and appreciation of the artwork involved with Anime. Also to give people a friendly environment where they can meet to watch and discuss anime. |
| Section 1 - Membership in the Anime Club consists of active, alumni, and provisional members. |
| A. Active Members - An active member of the Anime Club shall be a student who has met and maintained the requirements as stated in Article 2, Section 2. Active members shall be the only members with the right to vote or hold office. |
| B. Alumni Members - Alumni members shall be former members of the society who terminated their active membership in good standing. Alumni members shall be entitled to all the privileges of full membership except the right to vote or hold office. |
| C. Provisional Members - Provisional membership will be granted to men and women who have attended a club sponsored showing of anime. Provisional members shall be entitled to all the privileges of full membership except the right to vote or hold office. |
| Section 2 - Eligibility of Active Membership. To be an active member in the Anime Club a student must meet the following requirements: |
| A. Be enrolled in Lee College. B. Adhere to school conduct code and possess recognized qualities of citizenship. C. Attended one previous meeting. |
| Section 3 - Revocation of Membership. If a member is not conducting themselves in an honorable manner or is damaging the club in some form he/she can be removed and banished from the club by a three-fourths (3/4) majority. |
| Section 1 - The advisor shall be responsible for the guidance of activites. |
| Section 2 - The advisor shall oversee the completion of the annual report. |
| Section 3 - The advisor shall not be a voting member. |
| Section 4 - The advisor shall be responsible for coordinating financial activities, approving fund requests, and reviewing financial statements. |
| Section 5 - The advisor shall be given an inventory listing all items purchased with money from the club. |
| Section 6 - The advisor shall be notified when any item is purchased with club money is going to be used before it is used. |
| Section 7 - The advisor, president and librarian shall compare the items listed on the inventory list with the items themselves annually. |
| Section Section 1 - The Anime Club shall have the following officers (In order of rank): President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Librarian and Public Relations Officer. |
| A. Terms of Office. Each officer shall serve a two-semester term. B. Elections to Office. 1) All candidates for office must be active members of the Anime Club 2) Elections shall start at the second meeting and continue to the third meeting of each semester. 3) The inauguration of each officer sahll be at the third meeting of each semester. 4) Nominations from the floor can be made at the same meeting as the election. 5) During the week between the second and third meetings all active members who wish to vote shall cast their vote by e-mail, phone, or written ballot. 6) In case of an officer's resignation or removal, an election shall be held to elect a new officer. Nominations shall be made from the floor and will be made at the first meeting following the resignation of the officer. The election shall be held following the nominations. C Qualifications. Any active member of the Anime Club can run for office. D. Removal from Office. An officer may be removed from office if he/she is no longer an active member of the Anime Club or if three-fourths (3/4) of the active members request by petition that any such officer be removed. E. Executive Board. The executive board consists of the elected officals. F. Duties of Officers. The duties of the Anime Club officers are as follows: (1) President (a) Preside over all business meetings (b) Vote only in case of a tie (c) Present business to the organization (d) Represent the organization at all times (e) Develop goals for the club with the help of the adviser and other members (f) Responsible for implementing the club's social activities (g) Assisting the club's advisor in coordinating travel. (h) Responsible for overseeing of any club-sponsored activities for the campus and/or community (2) Vice-President (a) Perform all duties of the president in the event of the President's absence (b) Take roll at meetings (c) Supervising orientation and induction of new members (d) Contacting members about meetings and club activities (3) Treasurer (a) Maintain the club's bank account (b) Receive and deposit all funds (c) Keep a financial record, which shall be reviewed annually before the office is relinquished (d) Present a financial report at each meeting (e) Place all records in the official record book at the end of the semester (4) Secretary (a) Take minutes of the meetings (b) Read minutes of meetings as required (c) Place all records in the official record book at the end of the semester (5) Librarian (a) Keep records of the video library (b) Take inventory of the video library with the president and adviser (c) Keep records of videos checked out of the library |
