SLENN struts down the hall, her bookbag slung over one shoulder. Her eyes roam the hall, but those who catch her eye quickly hide their faces. Whispers, like wind, float amongst the hall. Slenn cannot hear what they are saying, but she can only imagine.

Finally, Slenn manages to catch one pair of eyes that do not hide away. A pair of glittering, malicious grey eyes stare out at her. Slenn gives Draco Malfoy a look of mock-horror. Approaching him, she stops. The two look at each other for a moment and those around them go silent.

The hall remains silent. Malfoy stares daggers at Slenn, who is smirking down at the boy. He turns on his heel and strides away, nose in the air, and flanked by Crabbe and Goyle. The hall breaks into murmurs, and many laughs, most of which Slenn is sure are directed towards Malfoy.

Slenn remains standing in the glass-less window, looking down at the milling students, some of which are dispersing.
