The Phoenix Rising takes place in the wonderful world of Harry Potter, a creation of Joanne Kathleen Rowling. We are not affiliated with J.K. Rowling, her publishers, or Warner Brothers. We are not here to infringe upon any copyright laws. We are setting the story in her world and using her characters solely for our own enjoyment, and the enjoyment of other musical and Harry Potter-loving fans.

All the songs are either original compositions by a member of the site, or an adaptation of another piece whose composer is credited on the respective page. All of the characters are completely original creations of their respective writers. They do not appear in J.K. Rowling's works.

The layout was designed by Lina, using the cover of the British edition of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, illustrated by Jason Cockcroft. The site was built and hosted using Yahoo! Geocities, Photobucket, and File Lodge.
