| Class of 1976 � 30 Year Reunion
Hello again fellow classmates of 1976, teachers and friends; Yes, tis I, the one who hounded you for months and months in 2001 and yes, I am back�.. I hope this welcome finds you and yours healthy and happy. So, can you guess why I�m writing this and why this site is up and running?...oh, come on, sure you can! Right you are � we�re coming back for more. The year 2006 will mark our 30th anniversary since we walked out the doors of Lasalle High School and ventured into the world as young adults. And, because we had a blast celebrating our 25th Anniversary, the gang wants more�.So, the journey begins. One year to go, so the hard work starts now. The committee has been formed and we are in the planning stages of putting together yet another exciting weekend of festivities. Whether this is your first chance to attend our reunion or if you joined us in 2001, you won�t want to miss this one. Reunions provide a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. I�m sure anyone who attended our 25 Year Reunion will agree with me when I say, �We had a blast!�. So, we�re coming back for more� Here it is � mark your calendars (This is a draft schedule only). We�ll kick the weekend off with an informal Meet and Greet for all, to be held at the Lasallle Legion on Friday, June 30, 2006 from 6 PM til the cows come home� Saturday, July 1, 2006 will be the Class Dinner and Dance. This is more formal (not formal � just more formal??) at a yet to be determined location. We are currently working on a couple of venues. Sunday, July 2, 2006 we will host a picnic for family and friends. Again, venue to be determined. THREE IMPORTANT NOTES: 1) This time we will include our �friends�! We had so many requests from �other graduating years� at the last reunion, that we thought �hey, the more the merrier�, so we�re opening up the doors and inviting others to join us. So, pass along the word and let them know. But, remember, you�ve got to register early to secure yourself a spot! 2) Please have a look at the �Lost Souls� list as my contact information from 2001 is outdated. We are pretty much starting from scratch. 3) We are going to need sponsors. In 2001, we had over $4,000 in sponsorships resulting in a reduced ticket price. We are going to make every effort to keep costs reasonable but we are going to need your help. Check out the Sponsorship page for details. I�ll be posting specific items/discounts that are needed as we progress with the planning.
