Much work today, and not as prepared as I would have liked. Planning the next 6 months of work (identifying things right now, scheduling is next). Soon, we will finish the budgetary items for next year (will there be money?) and one last thing for the day that I hate: mid-year reviews. Bleah.
Opted out of seeing the Pirates play tonight. With some luck I might get Green Monster tickets for this coming Thursday, though.
2004.07.016 - Pittsburgh
Got in to town late last night, grabbed dinner and crashed (after finishing "The Butlerian Jihad". One more of these to go, and then a few weeks wait for the last of the series to come out. After a month of "Dune", it's time for something new. Perhaps "The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse".
"What do you mean?", asked Joshua, a hint of fear in his voice.
Lucifer tilted his head forward, the briefest shadow of pity on his face. "How many Christians are there in the world today?" Joshua's expression told the devil he did not know. "There are about 2 billion."
Joshua's eyes widened as the he did the math. 6 billion souls in the world. 2 billion of them Christian. One third.
Lucifer smiled. "About the same as last time."

Had to make a very hard choice yesterday. Every day life has intruded, and I will be unable to attend the YGP recording weekend. This wounds me deeply, as I have broken a commitment to these very good people.
