CGI. Computer Generated Images. It's everywhere. Sometimes it may be obvious, but sometimes, you may not be able to tell the difference of reality and something made with a computer.
There are so many different kinds of software that can create scenes of seascapes, forests, cities, space, planets, people, animals, etc. Poser, 3DMAX, Rhino, Maya... There's even software to create images of spirals and swirls of color that sometimes reminds me of soft, fine ostrich plumes. They are called Fractals.
In this gallery, I only have one sub-category for true CGI: Vue d'Esprit. I only have the Demo version of Vue Pro 4 (and it eats pc power like there's not tomorrow) but it is really fun...if you have the patience. And if I had money (and a better pc) I would buy Vue and have at it! But for what the Demo has...it works!
The second subcategory is: Photo Manipulation. Here, you will find images I've made on the computer to alter photos I've found on the Net, using Photoshop 7. It's a lot of work and takes a lot of patience...but the results can be interesting!
