| Drawing Dynamic Hands Drawing the Human Head Dynamic Figure Drawing Dynamic Light and Shade Dynamic Wrinkles and Drapery Dynamic Anatomy A very cool and useful series of books by Burne Hogarth that can help you to learn, understand and hone your skills of the human body. It shows you in great detail the body moves, is shaped, appears (in light and shadow, etc), how fabric moves, etc. I thoroughly recommend artists - who can only manage a stick figure or those who can create real life images, should have this series of books for reference. I only have five of the six books but what each has to offer...well...I can't say enough about them! So, what are you waiting for! Go and get them! :p These books can be purchased at www.Amazon.com (linked directly to book list) |
| The Triumph of Art Nouveau by Arthur Ellridge, Finnest SA / Pierre Terrail Editions* Alphonse Mucha, Atrium Drawings of Mucha, Dover Publications, Inc.* Three beautiful books I use for my Art Nouveau artwork. Mucha is one of my favorite artists; I even went to the museum and saw many of his original works. They are breathtaking. I am currently using them as reference and inspiration for a commision I am doing for something. It's a lot of work, and the styles are very complex but very beautiful. Each book has many pictures, incuding examples of jewelry, kitchen and dinning utensils and ware, as well as photography, and statues. A must have book for artists, Mucha lovers and collecters! These books can be bought at www.Amazon.com |
