Warlock- Scottish tem literally meaning “Oath Breaker”. Accepted in the pagan community as negative connotation for a witch (female or male). Commonly mistaken in the mainstream for the name of a male witch though a male witch (like a female) is simply called a “witch”.
Watchtowers- The lords of the watchtowers are also called the Mighty Ones, the Guardians of the four quarters (north, east, south, and west) The term watchtowers is used in some documents in the Garnerian Book of Shadows. It is not clear where the term originated, but it is in general use in the Craft. (Ref 1)
Witches’ Pyramid- Is a concept employing the triangle of manifestation. The Witches’ pyramid consists of three metal faculties; the will, imagination, and visualization. By employing the imagination, directed by the will, and merging with visualized images, the energy of magick begins to condense. This technique employs the ability of the mind to raise power or energy and form it into a conceptual desire.
Wither shins- The term wither shins or widdershins from the Anglo-Saxon with sith,”to walk against” refers to a counter clockwise circular movement used to vanish spells, curses, and undesirable situations. Wither shins is also used during the casting of some magick circles and in certain necromantic ritual. Wither shins is thought of as walking against the sun and thus it represents what is unnatural and negative. (Ref 1)
