Well last week & weekend went by in a blur.  Not much to report.  Spent the weekend being pretty much a lump and being a counselor to two of my close friends.  All I have to say is I am sooooo glad I don't have to worry about dating anymore.  Christ what a pain in the ass the dating game is.

The question of the week is "when is it bad to be honest in a relationship".  My answer to that is, if being honest serves no purpose other than to ease your conscience and the truth would only serve to hurt the other person, keep your !@#$% mouth shut. 

Case in point.  This guy has a crush on chick A, chick A is not remotely interested in dating said guy, should he tell chick B who he is dating about the afore mentioned crush?  If you answered "DUH, of course not!" then you understand my pain.

That should be as obvious as the answer to your girlfriend asking if she looks fat in ANYTHING.  Of course not, you can say it's a badly cut style, the color is all wrong for your skin tone, but you never say "yes dear, you look like a pig."  Can I get an AMEN?  Thank you very much.

Anyway, in addition to hanging out w/ friend and discussing life & love, we actually took time to catch a movie, star wars 2.  I loved it.  I think I'm about the only person aside from above mentioned friend that enjoyed the movie.  For a review from the pro go to http://www.cinerina.com/ . So today at the office...

Today was the start of our "getting to know you" contest.  It's one of those match the baby photo to the employee things.  I spent all morning working on getting the posters with the pictures ready, and wouldn't you know it, the printer won't work.  You see I have to send all 'MSPublisher' files to our marketing department to print if I want color or a decent quality, and they were off line or some schiz.  I eventually, with the help of a fantastic co-worker (Ben) was able to covert the .pub files to .html and sent them to everybody.  What a pain the arse.

Well that's about it for today.  I've angels to make so I must be moving on for today.

So far this week my attempts to quit smoking have failed, I've done no laundry and haven't seen much of the husband.

It was Mom's birthday Sunday, so all weekend was dedicated to Mom.  All in all, I'd say it was a pretty great weekend.  Last night I was back at Mom's visiting with the in-laws and eating some left over cake (diet is also failing miserably).

Tonight (Tuesday) I was at a SDGBC board meeting until 9:30, then came home to edit some ebay photos for my friend Cat (MinervaManx).  And now, I'm working on this page.  We'll see how long it actually takes to publish it.  Note today is July 23rd, 2002.
