Sven Vensland Family

Sven was the 4th child of Thor and Berthe. He was born September 2, 1882. He made the journey to America when he was little more than six months old. He lived in Big Woods Township, Marshall County, Minnesota. He was also known as Swan and was listed on the 1920 census as such. He married Thilda Gulbransen in October of 1914. He had three children: Sam G., Melford and Tina. He died October 15, 1969.

Melford Sven had a son named Laverne Melford (Vern) who in turn had a son David Laverne. You can check David's webpage at vensland.com
