My name is Kent Vensland. I am Thor's great-great grandson a descendant of Torgus. I became interested in this project a long time ago when I realized that the only Vensland relatives that I knew of were my grandparents, my parents, my sister, my grandfather's brother, Gilbert, his kids and grandkids who mostly lived in Minnesota. I was also very aware that my name was somewhat unusual because no matter where I looked I could not find any other Venslands. When I bought a computer and hooked to the Internet I decided to search some more. At first I found no references to Vensland other than myself. Then one day I found the email address of David Vensland who I assumed to be my cousin, the son of my Uncle Gilbert. As it turns out he wasn't! He was the son of a Vensland I didn't know! He is also Thor's great-great grandson a descendant of Sven Vensland. After that the search began in earnest. I guess you could say that I am looking for identity in the masses of humanity.
