Don't take your book with you to the exam. Make sure you don't look at your books on the day of the exam. You can't catch up in the last hour everything you missed to learn before. It will only make you nervous to discover things you've never seen in your book. As you wait for your exam, look at those people who would eat their books in the last minute. Relax and smile. Be assured, they don't know more than you. Take 3 pens, your ID card, your dictionary if needed and enjoy the nice day. Do not listen to people who failed an exam. They will never tell you that they made mistakes. They are always very smart. They will always say everything correctly, but they always find malicious examiners who interrupt them. Can you believe that? No way. They will only interrupt to help you correct your mistake. Pay attention when they interrupt and listen to what they say. The answer is usually hidden in the question. Do not panic! Have you heard of people, who failed an exam in English because they didn't know how a nuclear power plant works? It happens many times, that you get a question you don't have an idea about. Remember, this is a language exam. If you tell them that you have no idea how the nuclear power plant works, it is the correct answer! Watch or close your eyes to listen! When the examiner speaks to you, watch his or her mouth. It is much easier to understand. On the other hand, when you have to listen to a tape recorder, you better close your eyes. I noticed on my first exam that I was staring around when they started the recording and I did not even hear what was the recording about. So, when they started the second time, I closed my eyes and I heard and understood much better. I remembered this at all the other exams, and it worked every time. Try some free tests |
