Rules

1) You may not use Ruatha Hold, Benden Weyr or the Fort Harperhall in any of your stories. For one thing, Benden Weyr has been destroyed in our timeline and Ruatha is in shambles due to poor leadership.

2)You may not be relatd to any of Anne's characters, nor PLAY any of Anne's characters. Be creative, people!

2) There are only five colors of dragons and firelizards. Gold, bronze, brown, blue, and green. No sport colors will be accepted. Dragons Impress as followed:
Gold - Heterosexual females ONLY
Bronze - Heterosexual males ONLY
Brown - Heterosexual males, very rarely bisexual males
Blue - Bisexual or homosexual males, bisexual or homosexual females
Green - All orientation of female, homosexual males, rarely bisexual males

3) Fanfiction cannot be posted onto the web in ANY which, way, shape or form. If I find you doing it, you will be kicked out and immediately reported to Alec and John of the KT, with my backing that it was not sanctioned by our weyr. If you wish to post Fanfiction feel free to join the Fan Fiction Forum on the Kitchen Table Bulletin Board at Anne McCaffrey's Official Website.

4) There will be no Martians, Federation ships or Jedi. Likewise, no Talents, or other characters from Anne's books.

5) There is no religion or magic. Dragon telepathy is enough, right?


Some of these next rules can be bent or broken with good reason:

1) Flaming other members will not be tolerated. It will only take one time before you are removed from he list.

2) Posts should be at least 5 lines long, no one liners please.

3) This is a PG-13 Weyr. Please ~~Fade to Black~~

4) There will be no timing, unless you can give the BoD a darn good reason on why your dragon should go between times.

5) HAD's require a very good persona sheet. A HAD may not ride a metallic or have a metallic firelizard. There are no HAF's in the club.

6) Don't play other's characters without permission.

7) Candidates are allowed one pet. Dragonriders are allowed two, all others may have three. I may allow ONE well written persona to have a 'firelizard fair.'

8) Runners are working animals and pretty expensive. Whers are guard animals, as are canines and felines. A child may have a 'pet' feline or canine, or one may prefer a certain person, but Pern's only real pets are firelizards.

10) Please think when writing your persona. You may not use Anne's names, but please do not use Terran names. No walking sterotypes. And all dragon names MUST end in '-th.'

11) A person may create two personas in their first month as a member. But there are some exceptions: a candidate is considered half a persona, as are blue and brownriders, weyr crafters and drudges are all half personas.

12) Candidates must be between the ages of 12 and 20, females may go up to 22 Turns. They may not be disabled or pregnant, but may become injured after Impression.

13) To prove you read the rules, please write 'Hyperion the Sun-Titan' where it says 'The Phrase That pays'.
