AUSTIN POWERS
THE SPY WHO SHAGGED ME

1999 ** 95 mins.

The story is dumb, the jokes are recycled, and the new characters are stupid, pointless, disgusting, or all of the above. This film is absolutely pointless. I give it points, though, because Heather Graham is perfect in her role and there are some genuinely funny parts throughout, though most of the humor is just more of the same (i.e. "Zip it" instead of &Shh" and Ivana Humpalot instead of Alotta Fagina). The Jerry Springer segments are great, but Mike Myers' new larger than life character is just too disgusting for words. All in all, I'd have to say that I severely dislike this film, but it does have some watchable qualities.
Rated PG-13 for sexual innuendo and crude humour.
