This is the early beginnings of the cycling section of my website. For the time being, it only has photos from my 2001 Cross-Canada cycling trip. I spent 4 months cycling from the Yukon to Newfoundland, covering almost 11,000km in the process.
The first set of photos I uploaded were done in Winnipeg in early August. They can be found at Cycling Page 1.
The next set of photos were scanned in Charlottetown, PEI at the end of September. To see these new photos, go to Cycling Page 2.
For those who have not had the opportunity to read some of the trip updates I've been e-mailing along the way, you can read them at Cycling Page 3.
Remember this song from "The Littlest Hobo"?
There's a voice that keeps on calling me.
Down the road. That's where I'll always be.
Oh, every stop I make, I make a new friend.
Can't stay for long. Just turn around, and I'm gone again.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down.
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep movin' on.
So, if you want to join me for awhile,
Just grab your hat, and we'll travel light. That's hobo style.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down.
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep movin' on.
Until tomorrow, the whole world is my home.
