It's Been A While Folks
March 13th, 2004
Hillsborough, NJ -- Certainly has been a while since I've made a journal entry...as far back as early January.  I must have been really really busy, huh?  Yea, sure, busy not doing any homework, still getting A's, and hitting some Polish lady's car.

Yea, that was the first bad thing to happen to me in 2004 - I'm sure it won't be the last.  I was driving to my music class one Wednesday morning, really groggy and not all there because I had been sick all week.  I pull into a spot, realize I can't make it, and then I go to another spot.  After class, I go back to my car, and see a note that says I hit someone's car and to call them because they have my license plate number, and that if I don't they will send Tony Soprano to come and get me.

Basically, this woman is a nut.  She doesn't speak english all too well either - I actually thought she was Indian, but in fact she's as Polish as the guy who installed the screen door on the submarine.  There was no structural damage to her bumper, just a little scratch from where my paint came off on her car.  $100 job right?  Wrong answer...let's try $377!!  On top of that, the freaking psycho wanted us to get her a RENTAL CAR for when she gets the bumper painted.  Madonn, where do I run into these people (literally...rimshot...hooooo).

Since then, things have been better.  I've been working out more and more, and since the weather is nicer, I've been running and have been able to play catch too.  I've lost about 8 pounds or so over the past three or four weeks, so I'm doing well.

I'm also, despite the Polish lady (who calls herself by her last name...idiot..."Kowalik here") doing quite well in the money department by making poker my national pastime.  Thursday, March 11th, I picked up a cool $40 from my Rutgers pals...they no longer wish to be my friends :).

Last Sunday, me and lover Tom Cantillon went to NYC to see "Stomp," which was fantastic.  We had a nice time in the city, holding hands, skipping down to Asbury Park to get married...fantastic.  The Saturday before that, me, Dipshits, and Charlie went to see Bill Cosby, daahhhhh at NJPac in Newark.  For those of you who haven't been to Newark, it is everything you've heard it is and worse...a terrible, terrible place.  That's why I'm going back Thursday to see George Carlin.

Gimme a call over the break...would love to hang out with my frie...oh, that's right.

2004: Dick's Balls Drop Again
January 4th, 2004
Hillsborough, NJ -- Well it's been a little while since I've taken the initiative to update my website, and a lot has happened to me over that time.  Actually, no, nothing at all has happened to me.

I hope everyone had a nice Holiday Season (ah the world of the politically correct) and New Years.  I did actually enjoy mine quite a bit even though I barely did anything at all.

Christmas consisted of seeing "Paycheck," where Ben Affleck gets paid too much money to try his hand at acting in a very lame movie.  Yea, it wasn't very good.  Affleck really isn't a very good actor and the script had more holes in it than Iraq.

Now usually on Christmas we have our old Jewish friends from the old country (Edison) come visit us.  However, after realizing that they are indeed Jewish, they did not make the trip this year.  But we made up for it lemme tell ya, bringing in our substitute Jew Ilya Livshits.

After the movie we came back and had a good dinner prepared by Mamma Mia Pucciarello.  My parents went out to see "Something's Gotta Give" with Happy Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton afterwards while me and Ilya sat at home and watched some of the Holiday classic "The Terminator."

When I think Christmas, I think big Austrians blowing stuff up...don't you?

Then came the night cap.  After good cake from Mamma Mia, the family came together (with the token Jew) to play some good old fashioned Texas Hold'em Poker.  We played with pennies so there was really nothing to win, but it was still a lot of fun.  I had a lot of what you'd call beginner's luck (and cheater's luck too).

New Year's I stayed at home at played "Max Payne" and "True Crime: Streets of LA," two pretty cool games.  The biggest thrill for me was figuring out that Christopher Walken does the voice-overs and narration in "True Crime," truly making my night.

So, I spent my New Year's with Dick...and boy did his ball's drop (rimshot).
