| The Great Mistake... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The Kyle Pucciarello Story | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Hillsborough, NJ -- Well I'm sure everyone is excited to hear about my life story, later to be aired on E! True Hollywood Story. I was born the illegitimate son of Bruce Springsteen and Marisa Tomei...wait no...it was Bruce and Charlize Theron. No, honestly, the great mistake occured sometime in May when my parents decided having a child would be a good idea. On December 7th, 1985, they realized what they had done and immediately fled the country. |

| I spent my early years in Edison, New Jersey. I didn't have very many friends (I'm sure this will change later on in my life). I had a nice pool in backyard, and a little clubhouse with pictures of the Ninja Turtles in it...it was a nice first six years. But my parents wanted to make sure I'd be completely screwed up, and made the move to Hillsborough. It took a little while getting acquainted with Hillsborough, but soon it felt just like home (I sitll had no friends!). As if the fact that I was born on Pearl Harboy Day wasn't an omen enough, we moved into our house in the boro when the World Trade Center was first attacked in 1993. I remember that day well, as I was sent home early for throwing up in music class - apparently you're not allowed to do that. I played little league baseball and continue to play baseball to this day. I am affectionately known as the "old man at first base," but consider it an honor to share the field of battle with these guys, many of whom have become some of my closest friends. Yea that's right smart ass, I do have friends (two of them actually). In my neighborhood we always had some kind of sporting event going on...except that none of us knew what the hell we were doing. Hitting a football with a tennis racket, catching a lacrosse ball with a baseball glove - it wasn't pretty. My fondest memory of backyard football was the day Jason Montagna got angry at Robert "Bob The Fish" Lazar and threw a two-by-four at him, unfortunately just missing him. I made a lot of poor music choices early in my life, shaking my bon-bon to the soulful sounds of Ricky Martin, raising the ever-so-popular question at Hillsborough Middle School, "Is Kyle gay?" Of course I never answered this question, but there was always this one guy... (clears throat) so anyway. Middle School marked the launching of the original "Kyle's Zone," basically just toying with the internet. This creative output was the first in a series of events that would bring you Ruskie Poochie Productions, two kids with no talent thinking they could make films. High School was pretty cool. I had a crush on the same two girls for the longest time, and actually became friends with them (although they still don't know my name). I got straight A's most of time, had a girlfriend, made a bunch of good friends, met a bunch of good people in the form of teachers, and never got suspended for selling pornography (I don't know anyone who did though....hmmm...is he my partner at Ruskie Poochie Productions?). Although that's all well and good, the biggest accomplishment was no doubt becoming a huge Bruce Springsteen fan, finally figuring out what good music was. This spawned my interest in Johnny Cash, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Warren Zevon, Neil Young, and of course Bob Dylan. The real draw to Dylan is how clear he is and how well you can understand his lyrics. My favorite is "Like a Rolling Stone" where Bob sings, "Waaaaayyy haaaaa sheeeeba maaaaammmaaa whoaaaa." Sixteen Springsteen concerts later...I am a student at Rutgers University, where the motto is "The Person with the Most STD's Makes the Dean's List." Looks like my name will be written on the list pretty soon by Dean...Martin...um...Dean Cain...no err...Dean Smith...no that's not it....Howard Dean? Where will I end up? For that answer, you'll just have to meet me further on up the road. |
