11-14-2003 10:15pm Cheesy me getting settled in the hotel I am now back from the beach and it was a nice relaxing vacation. So to recap, Pamela and I arrived at the beach and after we swam for a bit at the hotel, we went back to the room to relax and wash away the chlorine from the pool. Pamela was feeling a bit tired(I have never seen anyone who can sleep as much as her but for me it was a bit early and I wanted to go out so after doing a bit of sweet talking, I convinced her to go out for a drink before we turned in for the night. Pamela and her Rock Ice We ended up going to one of the first bar ran into. Unfortunately, Ican't remember the name of it but it was a bar located on the second floor right on top of a Subway restaurant. Yes, it seem slike even the beach is turning into a franchise. It was a nice bar and we thought that we would just have a drink and talk but the rain began to fall on the streets of Jaco. Since we did not want to get wet, we ordered another round but it seemed like everytime we ordered another round, the rain would stop and everytime we were done drinking, the rain would begin again. Needless to say, fate decided for us to stay at the bar for a few more hours then was expected. The next day, I got up at a decent hour of the morning. Well, if you call 9:00am a decent hour. Hey, I'm used to getting up around 6-7am so I think I deserve the right to sleep in once in a while. Not muched happened in the morning or the afternoon except lounging by the pool, reading and eating. Derek had told me that he might meey us that night and he certainly did meet us. As Pamela and I were finishing our dinner, out comes Derek in his beach gear and ready to party. Crazy Derek That night, we ended up going to several bars and finished the night at a dance club. No wait, We ended the night in Pancho Villa cause we got bored with the dance club and I needed to get away from this crazy chick I met there that kept trying to suck my face.(Please no comment from Derek and Pamela.) Thursday, our last day in Jaco. Really thought about staying another day but good sense took over so we spent the rest of the day at the beach and finally got a pina colada on the beach. Time to go back to the city. Sigh... 11-12-2003 10:20am As promised I am presently in Jaco with P. Unfortunately, the weather has been really crappy so I can{t get any sun. I think that when I go back to San Jose, no one will believe me that I was at the beach because I will still be a pale bastard. P and I arrived here around 4pm and we got a hotel next to the beach at the Poseidon Hotel. A decent hotel that is about $40 a night and a swimming pool. After checking in, we went to geta bit to eat at this restaurant but I dont remember the name of it. Food was okay and then we went for a walk on the beach. Nice and dark the walk was for by that time, it was after 6:30pm. However, the weather was still warm so we decided to take a dip in the pool. Oh my it was relaxing and refreshing. will write more later got to go because after the rain the sun is finally coming out and I want to enjoy it 11-08-2003 8:00pm Yes, yes, I know I have not written here in quite some time but here is an update of what's been going on in my life. I am not going to be going to the Dominican Republic, At least, I won't be thinking about going until next year. A decision that I can easily live with considering all of the factors involved in making that decision. Oh, here is a picture since I feel bad I have not been posting any up in quite some time. Gabe, Ralph, Raquel, and yours truly!!! I need a break from work(Gosh I sound like I'm back in the states). Entonces, next week I'm taking a few days off and heading to the beach. Will be going with a friend Tuesday and Derek and some other people may join me Wednesday. Certainly wil be nice to get a bit of color on my body. Nothing new here except that I was on a drinking binge last month but now, I've calmed down quite a bit and am back to my old self. For those who have been keeping up with my other websites, I have finally added a few more things to it like travel stories, pictures, etc... I wish I could say that I had gone and seen the new Matrix movie considering how much I enjoy that series but haven't had the time to yet. I have heard good things and bad things aboutit but the bad reviews frommy friends are from people who are not geekslike me. Thus, I will still see it. Hopefully MOnday. Well, actually, a definite yes for I will be going Monday with my friend that I am taking to the beach. Not saying who yet but I have mentioned her before and no, it is not the half Chinese half Tica girl. I can say that she is half Asian.
