07-31-2003 10:45am Well, last entry of the month. Why does it seem that time is just flying by? I can already feel the countdown. I went to visit the Vietnamese Adopted Network website today. I remember joining alomost a year ago when I happen to stumble upon it on the internet. Needless to say, I was very happy when I went to check out the members list to discover the membership has doubled since I joined. I suppose that as a Vietnamese adoptee, it is my duty to keep tracks of my other adopted brothers and sisters throughout the world. This means that I need to keep up with them a bit better then I have been doing these past few months. I can't wait to go back tothe United States so I can be more active in the network. It is a bit hard to do when I am in Costa Rica with an unfocused mind. Here is the link in case you are interest, Van-Online.org. There is one adoptee in particular I am especially happy for. Not because I know him any better then all of the other adoptees. God knows I only keep in touch with two adoptees from Vietnam and they all live outside of the U.S.! However, I do read his weblog on a regular basis. The reason I am mentioning it is because he just got engaged and it's nice. It's like when a family member announces to his family that he/she is getting married. When I read this, I felt very happy and proud. Weird eh? 07-27-2003 9:55pm Just a quick entry to let you know the U.S. won against Costa Rica(yeah USA!!!) and today Mexico won there game as well. You all know or a least most of you know that I am a big fan of The Coca-Cola Company for reasons that some of you know and others do not. No matter, just know that sometimes, I get very disappointed by what they do sometimes. Actually, in the past few years it has been a lot. You can read the latest article I read about The Coca-Cola Company by going to this link I'm sure Frank will have a big "I told you so" out of it since he is so anti big corporations. 07-26-2003 2:23pm Oh yeah, I also forgot to mention that the U.S. plays Costa Rica today for the CONCACAF Gold Cup. I was not a very big soccer fan back in the U.S. but it seems like anywhere else you go in the world, soccer is big. So I do watch it once in a while. Kind of have to since it is always a topic of conversation around here and since I don't want to be left out... The problem with the match is that of course I want to cheer for the U.S. but if I do and Costa Rica loses, the ticos are going to lynch me!!! Pretty important game today since whoever loses, are going to be out of the running for the gold cup. 11:50am What the hell is wrong with me? Last night I went out with some club with Derek. Hehad a rough day and wanted to go drinking and being a good friend, I went along with him to keep him company. Nothing special at the club but I did turn down two women trying to hit on me. The first one was a definite no. A girl you could say is, "easy" but certainly nothing that I would want to wake up to. The second girl was actually hot but somehow, I just was not in the mood. I was either not in the mood to take anyone hgome with me that night or I am just not into for free gratuitious sex anymore. Yes, I can't believe this sentence is coming from me. So I ask you, what the hell is wrong with me? It has been like a couple of weeks since I last had sex which is a bit unusual considering how much of a dog I am. Is this the end of my dog days? Am I looking for something a bit more meaningful? Does this mean that I am getting old? Is my biological clock ticking? I think I am also going back to having insomnia. Once again, in the past few nights I have had trouble sleeping. I hope it is not because of my conscience. However, having insomnia has helped me find out what has been bitting me at night. It was around 4 or 5 am in the morning a few nights ago. It was another white sleepless night. I was trying to read myself to sleep when all of a sudden, I see something moving towards my face. It was coming down from the ceiling on a strand. Then pop pop pop, two more strands were coming down and at the end of each strand, a tiny spider was slowly making it way towards my face. Ah ha, I told myself after killing(Yes, I'm a killer) the unwanted intruders. These are the culprites. The next day, I took out the can of Raid, moved my bed and started spraying the ceiling and the surrounding areas around my bed. Results, no more bug bites!!!! P.S. Please don't let the bugs, lizards, stray cats and birds, and whatever other critters that roam my house keep you from visiting me!!! 07-23-2003 11:45am Derek came back from Panama yesterday. I wish I could have gotten with him. He got a bunch of great pictures however, you won't see them here since they are for the business website. Speaking of the business website, something happened a few days ago. A fluke you could say for it was totally unexpected. You see, We had started a model page complete with applications, demands, and everything else that goes with it. It was kind of started as a joke. The situation was that we were looking for models to feature them in advertisement and our documentaries and stuff like that but we weren't really expecting anyone to fill our model application forms unless we had met them first and told them to go to our website. Thus, in the end, we never checked the e-mail address for the model application.
I happened to check it out the other day and oh my gosh, we got a bunch of applicants who want to model for us!!! Its's awesome but it's not for I do not have a lot of work for them and now, I got to go and talk to people I know in promotions and advertisment to see if they have any work for my models.
He he he, I guess that now makes me a model talent agent eh? Weird how life turns out sometimes. The movie was ok I suppose. The special effects were decent, the new Terminator was hot and the ending was fun but in general, the script was pretty average. Yes, I was disappointed because I expected more out of it, I mean we are talking the Terminator serie here.

She is just starting her site so there are only a few pages up so far but definitively one worth checking back on. 07-19-2003 1:30am Went out to this bar tonight with a friend. We were just chilling and shooting the breeze and this song came on. A song I haven't heard in a while. All of a sudeen, all of these memories began to flash through my mind. Memories of the past about "what if" I had done this or had not done this. Is this normal for this to happen? Did I let the one go? Why am I feeling so melancholic after hearing a stupid song. Yes, I am a bit drunk right now. Yo necesito mi cama ahora porque estoy cansado y poquito barracho tambien. Espero que un dia, puedo encontrar una mujer perfecta para mi. Estoy cansado de vivir esta vida. Quiero vivir una vida muy sena con el amor de mi vida. Pero donde esta ella? Es possible que no tengo una? Hay necesito me callase porque yo hablo de todo y de nada. I tried to add a new feature to my site where people can comment on my entries but somehow, I couldn't understand any of the instructions. Thank god that Kris is more PC savy then I am and is able to do it for me. Gee, I feel so useless now.
I was bored this morning and I happen to spy on my neighbors moving. Don't ask...
