07-13-2005 9:04am I woke up in the middle of the night last night and I noticed that we had no power at the house. I figured that that power was out because of the storm we had had thoughout the night. I went back to bed and woke up around 7am. Hum, still no electricity. Since my shower work on an electric contraption on top of the shower, it meant a cold shower for me. I found out later through my neighbor that we didn's have any electricity due to the explosion that took place at the hospital at 2:23am. Things are a bit better but still chaotic at work. Anyway, yesterday we also had a bomb threat at the office. Our offices are located on top of the Mall San Pedro. We take up the top 4 floors of the mall. Oddly enough, we were evacuated but the rest of the mall was not not. Kinda of scary when you think about it. An even scarier thing was tthat when the bomb squad showed up, they really didnt do much in terms of searching. All they did was take the license plate number of of all of the cars in the parking lot and that was it. Luckily enough, it was just a false alarm. A nice day today and I have to say that I have a much better view from my new office. 07-07-2005 5:48pm Yes, I am still alive and kicking. For those who know what I do for a living, you know that it is crunch time for me right now because football season is about to begin. Of course, I'm talking about American football. For those who don't know what I do, I work in marketing. Internet marketing to be exact for a sportsbook and my busy season is after March because that is when I have to get all of the deals going for the football season. Now, that I've made an excuse for not writting in a few months, let me tell you a bit about what is goin gon in my life. I'm getting a new roommate. Some guy from Florida since my old roommate left for a better house. I still have termites at my house and some american girl just moved downstairs. She work in human rights. Just a random facts I added to keep the present log going. I am tired of the rain because lately, when Ive been going home it always starts to rain. Something funny is that I always think of a lot of stuf I want to write about my day but the only problem is that by the time I get to writing in my blog, I forget.
