About the Artist - "The Trinity" Ann Marie Rasmussen is one of the most gifted artists I have ever known. When I met her back in the late '70's, to do some photography for her, Ann Marie had just come out a ten year depression. The interesting fact here is that Ann Marie was married to a Rockefeller. (So much for money buying happiness.) She had just been featured in most of the major New York newspapers and magazines for her work and story. The above drawing of "The Trinity" came a short time after I had been born again. Interestingly, I had been visiting her at her home in CT on the morning of my salvation, which occurred later that day in Pennsylvania. When I visited her again, and told her that I had been born again, she became very excited. She then told me that she had been raised a "fundamentalist" in Norway and asked if she could do some drawings for me. You see, Ann Marie would often stay up all hours of the night, and do scores of art work. She was breathtaking genius. In the above drawing, I asked her to tell me about the Trinity. She drew it in a matter of seconds. I've marveled at this drawing ever since. If you notice the shapes are ONE stoke - denoting the 3-in-1 concept of God. The tall figure on the left is the pleased FATHER, out from Him is His Loving SON, and proceeding out of both of them on the right is the HOLY SPIRIT. At least that's what I think. Ann Marie never gave me her thoughts on it. What do you think??? |
