Kodie's Alaska AIDS Vaccine Ride August 20-25, 2001
Rock on wicha bad self, girl!
Well, this is it, folks!  The long-awaited, much anticipated consummation of Kodie's latest and greatest endeavor - the Grand Poobah of this year's Personal Challenges, the Mack Daddy of this Summer's Adventures (drumroll please...)
the Alaska AIDS Vaccine Ride!

A tribute to my fellow riders, hard-working crew, friends, family and, most of all, those of you who so generously donated to help make this endeavor possible and to help make the world a better place!
Thank you all!

Hope you enjoy the pics and tales that follow...

Day Zero:  Roomie, Greg and I preparing to check in and become official riders!
Jill and I chillin' outside the Registration Center on Day Zero. A little nervous, a little overwhelmed, and very excited!
After a wild and hectic day of standing in lines, filling out forms, getting wristbands and tent assignments and being herded from one area to the next, we are all now officially registered for the Alaska AIDS Vaccine Ride! It's quite a logistical feat, actually - amazing how organized everything is!  Quite impressive!

     We head out of
Fairbanks tomorrow at 6:00am after opening ceremonies.  There are some amazing people here and already I've met some really beautiful individuals and I am having a wicked time!
