BUS DILEMMA

 

Now guys this happened to me while I was going to the temple in KERALA .The bus I boarded was a crowded one and I got a back seat .At the next stop a father and a small child hopped in .The child was of five to six age category .The father of the child was a lean looking person . The child was having some problem with one of the eyes . The father of the kid asked the fat ass sitting next to me to give some space for the kid to sit , which he gave .But after two stops I saw the kid bouncing of the seat with fatty apologizing for the lack of space .Now I was not pleased with fatties attitude .

I told the child's father to let the child sit on my lap which he refused . Must be disappointed with fatties attitude . Now dilemma had it hold on me .The angel in me was asking me to stand up and give the seat for the child's father .But the devil in me refused he pointed out that there were too many people in the bus and if I if I stood up I may not get a seat for hours . Angel at this point told me that if I stood up god will reward me with good sexy looking seat . But devil interrupted saying that god doesn't own this bus and warned me that nobody will give a damn if I stood up .

U know I normally don't sit in the back seat . It's too bumpy man , every bump lift's you sky high . Angel I guess figured that out . He said "Man sitting in the back seat is not you . I will give you a seat near the back door ( my favourite ) if you stand up ". But devil at this point intervened and said "Boss there's a guy standing near that door .so the next person to move in if any one moves out of that seat is that guy .You won't possibly push that guy aside and sit there right . This really got my mind and I decided to sit there closing the mouth of the angel .

And guess what at the next station all the guys who were standing in the back + the guy seated in the seat closer to the back door got out . Leaving a clean invitation for the kid's father who was left standing .I said what the hell . I was a bit shocked at this . After all the conversation took place inside my head . I heard angel laughing . I was bit ashamed of not listening to the angel . But I said man I am also from "god's own country too . Don't I deserve a good seat .

Angel said " hold it buddy . He will get up soon .Then u can have it if u r man enough ".

I said" wait a minute . Did u say if u r man enough ".

Angel said " yup ".

I asked "what do u mean " .

Angel said " Man , u don't expect me to drag u to the seat , do ya ? I can just show u the path man , u have to walk for u'rself . There r thousands of people who expect god to help them by taking them personally in his hands and spoon feed them . If u r that kinda creep who wants u'r lover to say I love u first , or the kind of person who expects a nice company to send there cadillac to pick u up without doing anything for the sake of it or the kinda punk who wants to be paid without doing anything I am gonna leave u right here buddy ".

I said " hold it boss. So what do u suggest ".

He said" Man I want u to act . Act consciously . That alone can save ya . If u just sit here thinking about" should I "things ,u never gonna make it . I want u to jump for the seat like a guy who never ever got a seat in his life . Can u do it ".

And I said " yup " .

By this time 2 stations had passed . At next stop child and father got down to my surprise . I remembered angel's word's and I also saw the fatty sitting next to me eyeing the seat . The next second even before the fatty could blink his eyes I made my move and captured the seat and said "long live action " .

It is normal among us to expect a favour for favour ( fff ) .U do good u get good , right . But think of the times u been hurt because u expected and the other person didn't give a dam'n .

So try to develop a helping mentality that doesn't expect favors in return .
