Grand Masters Rupee Club

Grand Master's Rupee Club: M.W. the Grand Master, M.W.Bro. D. D. Udeshi, OSM has appealed to all the Brethren to consider joining the "Grand Master's Rupee Club" by donating a small sum of only Rs.1/- per day, i.e., Rs.365/- per year. He has assured that this entire amount will be earmarked for worthy causes only. I, therefore, appeal to all our Brethren to donate to this noble cause. There is an option of making a one-time donation of Rs.4,000/- and becoming a 'Life Member' of the "Grand Master's Rupee Club". All those who opt for this will receive a lovely jewel from the Grand Lodge of India. Please contact the undersigned for further details.

I am glad to report that number of brethren have become annual members apart from the following Brethren who have become 'Life Members' of this club. They are:

a) W.Bro. O.N. Chandla

b) W.Bro. Bhupinder Gupta

c) W.Bro. J.N. Chandla

d) Bro. Vinay Chandla

e) W.Bro. Rajeev Sood

Thanks for your thoughtfulness. May your tribe increase!

Dhanya Dhan Programme

Dhanya Dhan Programme : M.W. the Grand Master, M.W.Bro. Arun Chintopanth, OSM has appealed to all the Brethren to take out a handful of grain every day and at the end of the month to get the same at one place and distribute it to the needy.

I am glad to report that some of the brethren of this lodge collected money for the same purpose for distributing it to the needy.

Thanks for your thoughtfulness. May your tribe increase!

Before your next meal, here's some food for thought.

Half the world's hungry are in India,

The country's child malnutrition rates are among the highest in the world,

Around 35% of India's population consume less than 80% of the minimum food requirements.

As Freemasons, let's spare a thought for the hungry before we ourselves eat everyday.

And as a small measure of our commitment, let's lend a hand to...

A charitable project that involves brethren and their families.

As part of this initiative, every brother will contribute a handful of rice, wheat or anything the family may decide, which could be put into a bag every day.

Periodic collections will be made either by individual Lodges from its members or group of Lodges in a particular area or city.

The foodgrains collected will be directly distributed to destitutes, the poor or to institutions, as it won't involve centralized collection by the Grand Lodge of India.

Further, the project will involve 17000 brethren and their families across the country.

This will ensure that an immense number of hungry people are fed, even as the fraternity is richer and happier by this initiative.

So, won't you give a hand?

~Arun Chintopanth,
Grand Master
