In August 1999, Pha and I bought a condo on Jomtien beach just south of Pattaya, Thailand. We have been coming to this beach since 1987 and have watched it grow from a sleepy beach with no high rise buildings (we used to park our car in a vacant lot that now is the oldest condo on the beach) to one with more than 20 hotels , condohotels and condos along the beach.
There are the same food stalls along the beach and people selling tropical fruits while you sit on the beach but it is now truly a tourist beach.
Here are a few pictures of life at our condo and at Jomtien beach.
