The Senate
The Senate together with the House of Nobles (also referred to as The Upper House) makes up the Parliament.
The Senate houses all the senators, the democratic elected representatives from all the districts and colonies; Two senators from each district and one senator from each colony. The district senators are members of political parties. The political party who get the majority of the votes in the senate election, is the party who gets to send two representatives (senators) to the Senate and who gets the Governor of that district The Senators (and Governors) are elected for a three years term. The senators from the colonies are non-political and are often appointed by the colony's Lord. The Vice President is the Speaker of the Senate
