I got the photos from my trip already but I haven't scanned them yet. Some of the pix from Vegas got ruined. Bad trip. The ones from Florida were pretty good, probably cause we mostly hung out at the beach, with the scenery and all. I still have one more roll to develop for the rest of my Cali pix. I wish I had a digital camera. Speaking of which, my uncle has one and he took a pic of me and my bro two days ago.

Oh damn, I'm really dark here. Hehehe. :p (If the pic looks distorted when you click it, just press the button on the bottom right of the image. It'll appear in one way or another.)
And here's one in Brenham, TX from 2 months ago, I think. We're sitting on an antique Blue Bell ice cream truck.

Aren't my nieces cute? :)
Two days ago, I also turned 19. It's almost unbelievable cause I still feel like a high school student. Probably cause I haven't started college yet. *Sigh* I gotta get my shit together.

My Own Summer Today marked the end of my 3-week trip to Nevada, Florida and California. I had a great time in all those places, but a different way for each one. I stayed with my Uncle Glenn and his family in Las Vegas. I also have some relatives in Henderson . They all took turns showing me around. They're nice people and it's funny how all of them think that me and my bro Jay look alike. I couldn't gamble yet (which is okay cause it's not exactly my thing), so basically I just went hotel-hoppin at the strip and saw shows in downtown Vegas. Eye candy all over. I got picture crazy just snapping photos all the time. Oh yeah, I also went to the Hoover Dam on the Arizona side.
On my way to Florida, I decided to check in my luggage because I wanted it to be a relaxing flight. I didn't do that the last time because I remembered the movie "Meet The Parents". Hehe. The black dude who got my bags was pretty cool. He told me that not only do I have J.Lo's last name--I was also "a dead ringer for her and that I could pass for her sister". Hmmm...must be my sunglasses and hoops. I just laughed it off.
Just as my flight was a relaxing one, so was my stay in West Palm Beach. Even the weather was perfect. Sunny but breezy. Most of the time I would sleep for 12 hours, more or less. Haha. Then, me and Pearl would either swim at the pool or go to a beach. It was just too bad when we went to Miami cause it was raining the whole time. But I got to go to Lakeworth and Fort Lauderdale, which had pretty beaches, too. We also watched "Bruce Almighty" and hung out downtown one night. This is also where I smoked most of the time. I tend to chain-smoke when I can smoke inside the house, which we did.
My California experience was probably the best. It's probably because my cousin August drives already so we didn't have any oldies with us. Just us and their friends. Plus, it's still fresh in my memory because that's the last place I went to. Okay...I'll backtrack before it fades away...
+ First day...we just hung out at 2 malls, the one in Riverside, where they live, and another in Moreno Valley. August's friend Renee was also with us and we all watched "2 Fast 2 Furious". Very cool movie. Paul Walker is easy on the eyes, too. :) We ate after that and then went home. I was waaay tired. I didn't get much sleep.
+ Second day...we hung out at the mall in Ontario, where I got off. Then we went to mass. Yeah, that's just about it--no, wait. I just wanna share that the guy behind us during mass sang so loud I couldn't stop giggling. I laugh at the littlest things.
+ Third day...we went to a beach in Redondo. Soaked up the sun and took a couple of photos. Then we hung out at their friend Don's house and just watched TV the whole time. Typical Americans. Hehe.
+ Fourth day...(this is starting to sound a little like the bible passages about creation...lol) We went to Six Flags. Me, August, Edward and Edward's friend Aimee. I didn't get to take a lot of photos or get a souvenir like I hoped but it was all good. I had fun trying out most of the rollercoasters. Scream and Riddler's Revenge are my favorites. Cool cool cool. We also ate at Friday's after that. I even met a guy while I was smoking outside. He was pretty nice and not at all racist.
+ Fifth day...I think we just stayed home *:|
+ Sixth day...we went to Universal Studios. It was supposed an hour and a half trip but we lost an extra hour because August claims that the Hollywood Blvd sign disappeared. Haha. We ended up cruisin in L.A. which was cool before we finally got there. Know what? I picked the wrong day to wear shorts and a tank. It was soooo cold that day. Glad I brought my jacket, though. Anyways, I took more pictures here because we weren't that excited, unlike in Six Flags we were constantly moving. But Universal is still pretty rad, especially if you're a big movie fan. But what really caught my attention (and Aimee's) were the replica cars from the two "Fast and the Furious" movies. The cars were b-e-a-utiful.
Before going home, we passed by Edward's friend Caesar's house. He's cute. But even if he was interested, he is younger than me. Anyways, we just chilled there...I drank some Smirnoff Ice and my cousins had some Bud Light. I think Edward had a lot. Like he needs it. He amuses us even when he's sober. He kinda reminds me of my cousin back home, Julius. Serious on the outside but says a lot of funny stuff.
+ Seventh day...I just bought some souvenir shirts and we all hung out at Renee's house. The movies on TV were good so that's pretty much what we did the whole time. But unlike me, they were also talking to people on the phone. Damn, I miss my cellphone. And that brings us to today. I finally went back to Texas. It's actually okay here. I often complain about this place but I guess when you're gone for a long time that's the only time you realize stuff. (I'm so not being original here...) When I saw Taylor and Koda, I hugged them sooo tight. Hah, I missed those brats.
But as of now, I still haven't seen my brother. He's working late, like, till morning. I don't know if I'm gonna stay up for him or not. Hmmm...
