Kim's Cyberworld

Welcome to Kim's Cyberworld!! My name is Kimberly Sta. Maria Dalton. This spring I am a Junior/Senior at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. I am a molecular biology and computer science double major and am also currently still on the premed track. This summer I took organic chemistry at the University of Missouri-Kansas City to get a little ahead and to facilitate a minor in Japanese. Isn't that crazy?

Anyway, I'm back here at Vandy now and looking forward to a hard semester filled with Biochem, Genetics, Principles of Operating Systems, Algorithms, and other lovely classes. I'm really happy because I tested into Japanese 211 this year which means I may be able to fit in that Japanese minor that I wanted. Why am I giving myself the headache of a more advanced Japanese class, you ask? Well...first off I guess I am stupid (c'mon, premed students are supposed to take what gives them a good GPA!) and secondly, I really and truly love anime. I hope someday I'll be able to watch it without subtitles...but that's a goal that will take years and years of study to achieve, I'm sure. You can check out the Japanese Essay I wrote about my summer if you want to and you have Japanese language support.

Just one quick thing! Girish has said two really funny things recently, so I thought I would put them on the front page.

-I'm not gay, I'm just here to dance.

-Mr. Potato head is so cool. He keeps all his stuff in his *ss

In my pages you'll find links to infomation about me, my thoughts, my friends and their pages, and a fair smattering of everything else. The fine arts, especially theatre, are my greatest obsession, so expect to see lots of theatre links on my web page.

I also plan to put up a page of useless but fascinatingly interesting trivia, an X-files gallery (if David Duchovny doesn't catch me first), and an online web page building tutorial. This site will remain under construction for some time - keep in mind I'm a busy student - but I assure you that I'm working as fast as I can to meet the demand of the people.

Oh one more thing, don't those little pop up windows on some webpages SUCK?! Well, if you press ctrl + w on an IBM compatible computer (open apple + w on a Mac) you can close the windows as soon as they pop up without having to click with your mouse. Oh MAN was I happy when I learned that shortcut!

Thanks for browsing! ^_^
