ctrl+c	Copies a selection
ctrl+x	Cuts a selection
ctrl+w	Closes a window
F1	Help in most applications
F5	Refresh in most applications
ctrl+z	Undo
ctrl+shift+z	Redo
alt+tab	Allows you to switch between applications
tab	moves you to the next input field or forward
shift+tab	moves you back to the previous input field or backward
alt+b	makes text bold
alt+i	italicizes text
alt+shift+k	converts text to small caps (in Word)
ctrl+a	selects all text
ctrl + +	superscript
ctrl+shift++	subscript
ctrl+s	save in some applications
