And now we come to the newest addition to our family.  A sweet blue merle bitch who joined us on August 19th, 2000.  We were offered the opportunity to buy her after her breeder heard of us losing Bradley so sadly and unexpectedly.  Dove was a bit over 6 months old when I brought her home, and although there were a few weeks of settling down and getting to know one another, we certainly wouldn't be without her now.  She's a funny, happy, girl who is full of her own importance and wasn't troubled by coming to live with us.  The Jack Russells didn't know what to make of her though, and took quite a while to accept her!

Here she is, our little Dove.  She loves life on the farm and has to be in everything.

Even if it means getting horribly muddy, which she doesn't really like!  Can't say I do either!

And guess who fell in a puddle!  No wonder the ears have gone up!

But she comes up nice and clean after a short time.  She's got a good textured coat which sheds the dirt quickly.

I just noticed that Tessa is 1 day less than 14 years older than Dove!
